Article: The Senators

Three bighorn rams lying on a cliff.

The Senators

“The Senators”

There’s a quiet magic in taking the old, less-traveled highways through the Rockies - the ones where time seems to slow and wildlife still wanders freely across the landscape. On one of those winding mountain drives, we rounded a bend and found ourselves face to face with a bachelor band of Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep, perched high on the sun-soaked cliffs.

What made this moment unforgettable wasn’t just their presence, but the natural hierarchy unfolding before us. The rams had positioned themselves on three distinct tiers of the rock face, each one claiming his place in the social order as they soaked up the sun.

The Senators captures that rare moment: a quiet gathering of strength, wisdom, and wild majesty in the heart of the Rockies.
