The Lookout

“The Lookout”

While out photographing grizzlies in Central British Columbia, along a winding river, we often came across majestic bald eagles perched high above the trees. The perfect spot for them to get a good “bird’s eye view” of their territory.  The salmon were just starting to spawn, and with fish being a large portion of their diet, more eagles were starting to show up daily. While the grizzly bears were bulking themselves up for winter on the protein rich heads and guts of the salmon, the leftovers were quickly devoured by the eagles, that were never very far away.
