"The Confrontation"

While out photographing the Alaskan Brown Bears in Lake Clark National Park in Alaska, we came across a mother and her two cubs digging for clams along the coast. Soon our guide told us to get ready for some action as another mother and her two cubs were approaching. Apparently, this would often happen and that they would end up putting a run on each other. Much to everyone's surprise it was much more than that! Our guide said in his 15 years of guiding he had never witnessed such an aggressive confrontation between two females! What seemed like at least 5 minutes of intense fighting right in front of us, ended up being the longest 90 seconds of my life!
