Winter Sentinel

"Winter Sentinel"

In the quiet foothills of the Canadian Rockies, winter still clung to the land even though spring was just around the corner. Snow fell softly that morning, drifting like feathers through the stillness. As we scanned the treetops, a striking silhouette emerged - a bald eagle perched high on a branch, completely unfazed by the cold.

There he sat, regal and unmoving, watching over his snowy kingdom with an air of calm authority. Every flake that settled on his feathers only seemed to deepen his presence, as though winter itself bowed respectfully at his perch.

It was early spring when Stan captured this moment, but winter had one last story to tell. And in the fleeting hush between season, this magnificent eagle became its guardian - a true Winter Sentinel.
