The Stallion
One summer day, while wandering the foothills of the Canadian Rockies, we came across a band of wild horses grazing peacefully in an open meadow.
From the shadows of the dark spruce trees, one handsome stallion stepped forward. As the sunlight touched him, his coat and long flowing mane seemed to glow, catching the warmth of the summer day.
We stood quietly and watched as he moved with purpose around his herd, never straying too far. There was a quiet strength in the way he carried himself… protective, aware, always keeping a watchful eye on both his band and on us. As long as we kept our distance, he seemed at ease, pausing now and then to graze on the lush meadow grasses.
It was one of those moments that stays with you… witnessing a magnificent wild horse, strong and free, living exactly as nature intended in the wilderness of Alberta.

Absolutely stunning! It’s time we started protecting and appreciating ALL animals, wild and domesticated. We have to stop encroaching on their territory and accept them.

Always enjoy reading about the history of the animals We often just take them for granted They have a hard but wonderful life running free and they are very smart
