Nature's Masterpiece

“Nature’s Masterpiece”

Whenever we take a drive in Kananaskis Country, I can’t help but stop and enjoy this beautiful view looking down Smut Creek near Engadine Lodge at Mount Nestor. On this cool autumn evening I was playing around with my new blue/gold polarizer seeing how I could manipulate the glare from the sun to capture the details in the scene while the sun was setting. Much to my surprise the warm hues that were captured by the polarizer accentuated the sunset glow creating a unique sense of beauty and calm I always feel when I look down this creek. For me, this place of amazing splendor will always have a special place in my heart as one of nature’s divine masterpieces.
